Hey guys, Drew back here. So, after a boring day yesterday, today brought me 2 new packages, both from eBay! One of those 2 cards just happened to be the biggest pickup, aka the one that cost the most. You will most likely see that one tomorrow! As for today, here is the first pickup, one that I really couldn't pass up:
From the 2011 Topps "Diamond Giveaway" website, I purchased the redeemable die cut card of Nick Swisher for my Swisher collection! I haven't been fortunate enough to win any of these cards on the website, and I was dying to see how they looked. A lot of collectors have complimented them, saying that the design was great and they were incredible to see in person. I'll have you know that I 100% agree with them. They are amazing looking!
I definitely recommend trying to find one of these cards, either on the website, or online, of one of your favorite players. You will most likely not be disappointed! The cards have a thick stock, but otherwise they have a feel of the popular 1990's inserts. Topps did a great job with this set, and it may be the best part of their 2011 year!
