Trip to the Shop Yesterday!

Resulted in a few thick card supplies, and:

- 2 Packs of 2009 Topps Chrome Football
- 2 Packs of 2009 Playoff Prestige Football
- 1 Pack of 2009 SPX Baseball
- 1 Pack of 2008 Topps Stadium Club Baseball

So, here are the highlights:

In Prestige I got all base, no dummies too, didn't know Panini didn't put them in there, one pack had a William Moore RC (Falcons 2nd rounder), and that's about it.

In Topps Chrome Football I got my money's worth, a National Chicle Dwayne Bowe, Bengals cheerleader, and a RC Refractor of Michael Oher (going to Beardy), plus some nice base. Like the set in general, hoping to get more.

In SPX I did horrible, in a 4 card pack for 8 bucks, I got a 20th Anniversary Jim Edmonds, a dummy, Manny, and McClouth. I am officially done with that product.

And finally, my guarenteed hit pack was nothing special either. Stadium Club gave me a Chase Utley Photographers Proof #ed/599, a Cole Hamels #ed/999, a Jayson Nix RC, another RC, and a Brian Barton RC Autograph. Brian is in the Braves farm system, and I couldn't get much more upset after pulling that one. Oh well, maybe something better next time :(

Trade with Nachos Grande!

Hey guys, Drew back here with a mailday! Today's mail is from fanofreds, Chris, Nachos Grande, whatever you want to call him. He sent me a bunch of cards I needed for Allen & Ginter. There is another pending trade in the works right now, so currently I need about 22 cards to complete the standard set, 3 National Prides (1, 45, 75) , and 6 Sketches (2, 3, 4, 5, 15, 22). Hey guys, sorry for the absence, Thursday was dodge ball night, and I slept over my friend's house last night. Today I got a lot of cards, some in a trade with Chris from Nachos Grande, some from the card shop believe it or not, and first, from Garret Anderson! Garret signed 1 out of 4 cards for me, the 1st guy to return the cards so far, come on Grandy and Neshek! Here is the picture of the card he signed for me:

He sent me the other 3 he didn't sign, so next year if he's still around I'll hit him up with the Allen & Ginter then. Too bad he didn't sign all 4, but he is a great player, and the picture on the card is nice. Thanks Garret! See Ya!
