Alright, I am completely mad out of my mind! Here are some problems that have revolved around me ever since I got braces:
1: I can't have hard candy, popcorn, gum, & caramel for 2 years!
2: I got into a huge slump in baseball, striking out in every game in my last 3, but I did break out eventually.
3: My camera is going hay-wire with me, using its "mind of it's own". It stops during videos like my old camera, half the videos aren't being able to load on my computer, when I look at the pictures on my camera it automatically goes back to the picture mode, and it flips around different modes when I am simply trying to make a video!
4: My computer is driving me INSANE!!!! Now all of a sudden it says my computer profile is corrupted, and they gave me some default profile to use! Now every picture, powerpoint, word document, and every video is GONE!!! I am so mad right now that I'm starting to fume and in a couple minutes I will explode!!!
So, even though I had 3 or 4 different blog entries all ready to get typed up and posted, well all the pictures are gone so I can't make them yet! I wasted tons of time scanning about 100 cards, and this is what I get!!!
WHY DOES THIS ALL HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME???????????????
If anybody knows what to do about those last 2 things please give some advice! I need it!

TTM Return! My 1st!
Hey guys, Drew back here. I had an awesome day yesterday, getting my report card back with a 98.143 Overall Average, making Principles List, and my team won as I was 2-3 with a walk, strikeout, triple, and single! I also got the TTM back from Jeff King, and I was impressed. He signed both the index card and the Allen & Ginter 08 card, and gave me 2 special Cabelas Cards of him too! He lives in Alaska, and I live all the way across the country, and it took him 12 days to sign and return! Jeff King, you are awesome!
if you don't know who he is check this out
2 Extra Cabelas cards he threw in (unsigned)
1 Index Card (for my English teacher)
1 Allen & Ginter Autographed Card (for me!)
if you don't know who he is check this out
2 Extra Cabelas cards he threw in (unsigned)
1 Index Card (for my English teacher)
1 Allen & Ginter Autographed Card (for me!)
So thanks for looking guys, and by the way, I got the boxes in today, and Joemama and I will break the 2007 Bowmans Best box tonight. The next TTM I will send out will be to Mike Mussina, and it would be sick if he signs them. See Ya!

3rd Quarter Spectacular Update
Boxes are going to be ordered very soon. Hey guys, and as you see about that sentence, I am doing a 3rd quarter spectacular! So, on Blowout I am ordering 2 boxes today: 1 2008 Upper Deck Baseball Heroes box, and 1 2007 Bowman's Best box. They both have discounts right now, and I am really excited. Right now, I have been having tons of horrible technology luck ever since I got these:
1 Box of 2008 UD Heroes (split with Mike very possible)
2 Words: They suck. Anyway, I asked Mike if he wanted to split the Heroes box for $26, and he said maybe. He should be coming over in a couple minutes also. By the way, JawdysBasement isn't the only person in a basement busting cards. There is a rumor that I am moving the drewscards headquarters down to my basement where I will record videos and continue the drewscards tradition. So, I talked to Mike while he was here today and he said he was 90% sure he will pitch in and split the box with me. I will have another video slideshow for you based on the many many cards my dad gave to me for getting braces. (hint: i'm getting close to 30,000 total cards!) So keep looking for that update and now I have to work on a school project. See Ya!

New TTM Idea!
So, as you may know, I'm a big fan of mr. motown philly (squeepa 21) on youtube. I really like the fact that he does ttm requests often, and one time I tried one. I sent it to Brad Smith, wide receiver on the Jets, and I don't think I'm getting it back. So I have a new request. Jeff King. 4 Time Iditarod champion, and a legend with the dogs. In school we did an Iditarod race project, following their positions, dogs healths, and weather/trail conditions for a single musher that we picked, and I picked Jeff King. I went home one day, thinking where I have heard that name before, because I don't follow the Iditarod much. I started flipping through my Allen & Ginter set and came across this card:

Easter Recap!
Easter 2009
Hey guys, Drew back here with an Easter Recap, and I like the scanning with the slideshow so I think I'll start to do that for a lot of things. Here is my smaller easter recap:
So, I got the blaster and the 3 packs from Easter, I got the 2 packs of Piece of history and the 2 packs of Absolute by myself, and my dad bought the 2 mixed $2 lots at the hobby shop. When we got there, a man in the car next to us in the parking lot was trying to sell some old rookie cards. The guy drops his cigarette and shows us the bag, offering a good deal of $ for it. He showed us old Manny rookies and Jeter rookies, and we said no. My dad & I go in, with that man following us, and he asks to trade the cards with the cashier, or sell them. He pulled out a Mike Mussina after he knew I declined enough offers to let him know I wouldn't buy anything from him, and gave me it for free. How bout' that! A free Moose rookie card from Upper Deck! That was nice of the guy to do that, and the funny thing was that in 1 of the lots I pulled Moose's Score rookie card in it. So now, I have 2 Mussina rookie cards.
So, how about those hits at the end of the video. Many people don't really know Josh Johnson, but he is 2-0 this year and last night he beat Johan Santana in a big pitchers dual, going 9 innings giving up only 1 run. He is one of my fantasy pitchers, and I really am liking the guy right now! So getting a relic of him is pretty nice in my opinion. In the video I didn't show the base because it would be a long video if I did, but if anybody needs to know, comment on the video asking to. The Martinez patch is sweet, and it is numbered out of 25! Sweet! I really love the 09 UD Piece of History, and I can't wait to have a box in my hands! Probably for the 3rd Quarter Spectacular (the end of April) I will get one. So far I've gotten 2 Victor Martinez relics in 09, one in a blaster of Series 1 and one in this. The base cards in the set are amazing, and the inserts are nice too. The Varitek is numbered out of 999 too. So there you have it guys, that was my nice Easter break. Thanks for looking and See Ya!

Jose Reyes base, and the auto is of Tom Gorzelanny. It's another one of those Beam Team Autographs, and it's another one that is not numbered, but, I think we got another hit too! We might have a case hit! Yeah, we do! It's sick, SICKNESS, Look at that! David Ortiz... Autograph, David Ortiz Autograph, triple jersey autograph of David Ortiz! A beautiful card, it is numbered out of 99, UNBELIEVEABLE! Triple Jersey, Autograph of David Ortiz! Woo-Hoo! Definitely paid up for it, probably times 100 of the price! That is sickness! See Ya!"

I got the common prize, a little mystery pack, which had a mix of basketball and football: Mike Sanders (BB), Harvey Grant (BB), Rich Camarillo (FB), Andre Rison (FB), Don Mosebar (FB), Sam Perkins (BB), Henry Ellard (FB), a little Super Bowl trivia thing, Mark Kelso (FB), and a nice looking Rod Woodson (FB). Two were Yankees mixed sets, based on 80's and 90's players, with rookies of Ricky Ledee & Mike Lowell, and some guys like Willie Randolph, Don Baylor, Tommy John, Don Mattingly, Darryl Strawberry, and more. In the mixed I got some nice looking stuff too, but I won't name all of it. I made a slideshow of the cards I got over the great trip, and here it is...

COOPERSTOWN TOMORROW!!!
So as you see by the headline, tomorrow is going to be a great day for me! We are going to the Hall Of Fame tomorrow (we are leaving early in the morning), and on Thursday we are leaving mid-day but before we leave we will check out many local places and stores. I hear that there are a lot of card shops in the town! I figured out that I have 14 out of the 26 guys on the Yankee roster (A-Rod is included in this although he is on the DL) for my Yankees Rookie Card PC. I also decided that Brian Bruney is going to be my big PC dude, because you can get his stuff cheap and I met him and think he's a nice guy. He got roughed up a lot yesterday against the Orioles on Opening Day, setting the bases loaded and gave up 2 earned runs after Damaso Marte opened the floodgates.
The Yankees got crushed 10-5 as you may know, and combination of Sabathia/Bruney/ & Phil Coke gave up the runs. Some good news though is that Matsui & Posada both hit one out, so the Yankees have a pretty good idea of where the two injury prone players are standing. Posada looked good behind the plate, and Jeter had 3 hits in 5 at bats. As far as Sabathia goes, he showed NY that he is not what we think he is, giving up 6 runs in only 4.1 innings pitched. So, the Yankees played horrible, but there is a bright side in young Ramiro Pena, who pinch ran late in the game, but never had the oppurtunity to score. I need him for the Rookie PC, but I could get his really cheap. He beat out shortstop and former Rookie of the Year (2003) player Angel Berroa for the 25th spot on the roster, and people say he is one of the best fielding players in the game! Could we see him at shortstop over Jeter this year! If Matsui plays well, we could try to have him play left field later in the year, and have Nady, Cabrera, Gardner, or Damon play center, and Nady plays right. In that case, Jeter could DH, A-Rod hopefully is healthy and can play third, Cano at second, and Teixeira at 1st. Of course, also, Posada hopefully will stay behind the plate.
As for Fantasy Baseball, I am getting killed right now, 6-0 by my good friend Matt. I don't understand the league scoring, because I have 4 runs scored, 2 home runs, & 4 rbi, but I don't even have a point against him. Players I doubted such as SS Troy Tulowitzki and 2B Howie Kendrick both hit home runs, and Nady also had an RBI for me. My pitching was horrible, as two aces from the AL Central, Justin Verlander and Cliff Lee, got me an amazing 13.97 ERA! I think I will try to trade Jim Thome, not only because he is riding my bench because Big Papi has the DH spot, but because he can't play anywhere. In days where Ortiz isn't playing, any guy on my bench could play DH, and at other times the bench players wou ld need to fill in for position players. There is a hole in the lineup when it comes to Thome, and although he is a great player, I need him to go.
So, I guess all I can say about Opening Day is that I have 161 days to catch up!
